Maya Modelling Hammer Tutorial |

In this tutorial we will be modeling a hammer with help of poly and subdiv. |

Open up your maya application . |
| |
We have set our scene with the required tools we will be using in the modelling process, now step ahead and move to the scene. |

As you can see in the image above I have cretated a cube {Create-Polygon Primitives-Cube} and scale '5' it in x direction.Like the image show below |

Select the cube and open the attribute editor with the help of Ctrl+A and adjust its setting as the image show below |

| |
And now Right click on the cube select the vertex and adjust all vertex like the image show below. |

Now click on Edit Mesh-Insert Edge Loop Tool |
| |

| |

| |
|
| |
And make the create the edge as u can see in the image |
| |

| |

| |
Now select the faces between the first edge and second edge that you create and extract it |
| |

| |
|
| |
Now slect the centre face. |
| |
 |

And extrude it like the image show below |

| |

| |
And exturde it six times like the image |
| |
 |
| |

| |
Now delete its history [Edit-Delete By Type-History] |
